About

One person. On purpose.

Zero Trust is Chris Leutwyler — an IT and cybersecurity practice based in Anchorage, Alaska. I started it because most of the shops I know don’t need a department. They need a grown-up on the other end of the line who will finish the work.

I am a retired U.S. Army Cyber Defender, a husband, a father of five children and four furry kids, and I am happiest outdoors. This practice is licensed in Alaska, owned by me, and sized so I can stand behind the work.

The name is the method, not a warning about me. Zero Trust means we stop granting access because someone is “inside,” because they’ve always had it, or because the last vendor left a shared password in a spreadsheet. Identity, device, and need — checked, then checked again.

I do not trust the internet, and neither should you.

That is the translation. You should not have to take my word for it either. Capacity is finite. If I’m booked or I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so. That’s part of the job.

I work with clinics and other small shops that need someone who picks up — and who treats client data as if it matters, because it does.
